Workshop 1- Multidisiplinary approach with art to disease and the patient, 21/3/2018 at 16:00

Facilitated by Asst Prof  Mehmet Özen

Multidisiplinary approach with art to disease and the patient will be focused. Background in art is not needed. Art Workshop will take place in the Fine Art Faculty Gallery. It is 5 minutes walk from congress hall.

Workshop 2- Inter professional bedside rounding,  22/3/2018 at 14:00

Facilitated by Asst Prof MD Zeynep Güneş Özünal, Asst Prof MD Feride Sinem Akgün, Nursing services QA/QC Responsible Selma Gürkan

Workshop will involve health care professional's complementary roles and multidisiplinary approach to patient admitting to emergency department. International quality standarts and laws regulating the professional's role will be discussed. 



Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail to before 19 January 2018 and contain a clear outline of theoretical framework, methodology and results.

The text of the abstracts should be submitted in English only, in a separate Word document in the following format: max. 300-400 words, 1.5 line spaced Arial (Plain) 11-point font (except for title which should be 14-point font), A4 size page formatting, with the page margins of 2.5 cm from the left, top and bottom and 2 cm from the right. 



About presentations:

Poster presentations;

Poster orientation should be portrait (=vertical).

Poster size should be A0 (841 mm wide x 1189 mm high).

Poster presenters are responsible for their own poster, and should bring the poster personally to Maltepe University.


Oral presentations;

The time limit for PowerPoint presentations is 10 minutes.

All presentations should be in English.

It is recommended that all presenters prepare their presentation materials in Microsoft

Office PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX) file format.

All equipment (PC, microphone, speakers) will be provided. There will be a person to assist with any technical issues. We DO NOT recommend using your own laptop computer for your presentation to avoid problems.

All PowerPoint presentations should be emailed to us before March 15, 2018.
